"Bam Bam" (available for free download),

CONT^CT, the artist formally known as DJZJ, is back under a new name with the same regenerative energy that has ignited the blogosphere. Zach Jacobs, from Huntington, New York, is making his first audacious leap from mashups into original material.
Under his new name and persona, CONT^CT is taking his music to new depths, demonstrating multi-instrumental talents and a keen ear for excitement. This gifted architecture major at Syracuse University is setting down the books to deliver mash-ups and originals of lush symphonies likely to get you out of your seat.
His track “Voices” has been received warmly, citing its celestial vocals and a distinctive “progressive electronic flavor.” CONT^CT has opened for the likes of Laidback Luke, DIrty South, Cazzette, Big Gigantic, and Sultan + Ned Shepard as well as DJing the official MLS after party at the Highline Ballroom. His renowned mashup “Rounder Than Me” climbed to number two on Hype Machine in 2010. Having tried his hand at an array of instruments, focusing on guitar and piano, he masterfully melds diverse musical segments of Dutch and Swedish house influence into impressive displays of soaring guest vocals and upbeat rhythms. CONT^CT has his sights set on New York City, where his beats are well suited for the sleepless city with intense peaks and falls that exemplify the sounds of the night.
