*****JAKATO***** {Just A Kid Against The Odds} "After a few guitar lessons, I was hooked and started along the path known as“JAKATO”. High school in Lancaster, California was a musical estuary as he learned life’s lessons indiscriminately exploring hip hop, rap, metal, rock and just about everything on the radio waves. Upon moving to San Diego at 18, Jakato was thrown into the club scene with electro-house baiting him to the realization
‘I was hooked when I learned a single musician can compose a complete track digitally with only a computer and a mouse.’ Self- taught and self-reliant he traded string-strumming for music with volts. Motivated by his vision and craft to digitally reproduce any sound be it piano, guitar, or the tunes that speak to his mind, Jakato's quest began. While the likes of Eminem, Biggie, Eric Schrody, and Eddie Van Halen influenced his art, his present electronica inspirations come from the sets of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Morgan Page, Arty, Axwell, Electrixx, Deadmau5 and Skrillex, whom he praises for walking the road, turning dreams to reality, and believing in oneself and others always. Jakato’s journey thus far has involved three years, day in and day out of learning digital audio workstations/programs, thus achieving the sounds he produces today. His vision of connecting people and connecting with people through music motivates his busy days and late nights. Jakato sums it up, “This day and age is about serving others. We all have our place in life.That said, it is amazing to know that people will support good music that reaches them and moves them greatly. If I can show people what I feel or how I feel or teach them something through music, moving them physically or mentally... well then I will be bringing people together and uniting people on common ground through music.This is life, we are here on earth for the experience. Enjoy!” Jakato recognizes the focus on music in Armin Van Buuren’s fans. When asked about his vision for music in the future, the Jakato heart bleeds a sense of community as he wants to give a portion of future success back in a pay-it-forward way. Jakato is ambition, no doubt and with his heart in music he can achieve anything. Music is his lifeline and he is more than ready to share it.
