‘Size Foundation’, established by Steve Angello, is currently preparing for their latest initiative. The twenty-strong team is set to embark on a 10K run through the Swedish city of Malmö in an effort to raise 80,000kr for the children of Fonte Boa, an isolated town in northern Mozambique. The team will join thousands of runners who will take part in the annual Malmömilen event.
TEAM SIZE FOUNDATION aims to raise the funds to build a day centre for the children of the Fonte Boa area of Northern Mozambique. The day-to-day survival of the people of Fonte Boa is hindered by overwhelming poverty, hunger, and illiteracy. The centre will bring a hopeful future to the area, providing the children with food, shelter and education, and will supply the children with previously missing links to the wider world.
Founded by Steve Angello to encourage and empower children and youth around the world through education, the Size Foundation has already helped children in the poorest regions of the world, and so far, they have spread hope across India, Africa and local Europe since its inception last August. Built upon the Chinese proverb “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”, Size Foundation equips the world’s less fortunate children with the skills needed to build a better life for themselves and their families.
TEAM SIZE FOUNDATION will run the 10K Malmö-milen on Saturday 15th June. They hope that with your donation, the children of Fonte Boa will have a hopeful and boundless future ahead of them.
